EKOPEL 2K ROLL-ON Tile&Tub coating

We are pleased to introduce you to our latest development for 2023 - EKOPEL ROLL-ON Tile&Tub coating. This coating retains the core advantages of EKOPEL 2K (pour on version), such as the absence of a strong odor, excellent adhesion, and resistance to yellowing. However, the application process has been simplified as this coating is applied using a roller. You can now restore not only bathtubs but also wall and floor tiles.

Key features of the coating

  • Roller application method

    The coating is applied using a roller, and foam rollers are included in the kit. You will need to apply two layers to complete the restoration. This is a conventional method for surface painting and is suitable for all types of bathtubs, wall tiles, and floor tiles. With this application method, there is no need to disassemble the drain and overflow pipes. Simply cover the drain holes with painter's tape, and remove it after painting.

  • Odourless

    EKOPEL ROLL-ON Tile&Tub coating has no caustic paint odour at the time of application and afterwards. The material does not contain harmful solvents (hence, no pungent odor). EKOPEL ROLL-ON is based on 100% solid high quality resin. This resin is absolutely odourles and VOC-free.

  • No peel

    Thanks to the use of high-quality European components EKOPEL ROLL-ON bathtub coating does not peel off and will last you a long time.

  • Standard DIN EN 71-3

    This coating is tested in accordance with the requirements of the European standard DIN EN 71-3 (Coatings for children's toys). The coating is safe for humans and animals in the cured state.

  • Harder than concrete

    This coating is very hard. Its hardness on the Shore D scale is 84 points. For comparison, the hardness of concrete typically falls between 50-70 points.

  • Waterproof & Water-resistant

    This coating is waterproof, meaning water does not pass through it. Additionally, it is water-resistant, maintaining its properties and a glossy appearance when in contact with water.

  • High abrasion and scratch resistance

    Thanks to the unique balanced formula and the selection of high quality raw materials, the EKOPEL ROLL-ON coating passed the pencil hardness test and the index was at a high level of 4H. This indicates the high scratch and abrasion resistance of the coating.

  • Easy cleaning

    The coating is easy to wash and clean. We recommend using Cillit Bang Bleach&Hygiene cleaner to clean the bathtub and tiles.
